COX MODELS
1. Remove the wing from the fuselage. Remove the propeller.
2. Disconnect the motor wires from the main circuit board. Make
note of the connector’s orientation when disconnecting it so you
can connect the new motor in the same orientation.
3. Remove the two small phillips screws from the front of the motor
retaining plate. Take care not to lose these very small screws after
they are removed.
4. Grasp the propeller base and pull the motor from the motor
housing. The motor is a tight t in the housing. If the motor does
not come out easily, use a long, rigid tool to push the motor
forward from the back. Look into the fuselage and place the end
of your tool against the center of the back of the motor. Grasp
the front of the fuselage rmly and push the motor forward and
out of the motor housing.
